Price your used car stock against the live market - My Stock on Pro plans

My Stock loads the cars advertised on your own website into DealerPricing, with the price, mileage and days listed for each one. Run a search on any car to see identical cars for sale and sold, its retail value, days to sell and a market rating, then decide whether to hold the price, reprice or move the car on.

What My Stock shows for every car you advertise

Open My Stock from the dashboard and your live adverts are listed in one table, matched from the website saved on your profile.

  • Photo, make, model and variant, with the registration
  • Year, doors and mileage
  • The price you are advertising it at
  • How many days it has been listed
  • A Run search button that prices that car against the market in one click

How to check whether a car is priced right

Click Run search on the car. The dashboard then shows the market around it:

  • Every comparable car for sale at UK dealers, sortable by price, mileage and days listed
  • Sold prices for identical cars from the last 90 days
  • The DP Retail value and trade values for its mileage
  • Days to sell, active supply and a market rating out of 10
  • Filters for mileage, year, gearbox, doors and distance, so you compare like with like

When to look at a price again

Simple rules most dealers use for repricing, which My Stock and a search make quick to apply:

  • It has been listed longer than the days to sell for that model
  • It is priced above most identical cars for sale with similar mileage and spec
  • Identical cars are selling for less than you are asking
  • It has had little interest in the first two weeks, when an advert gets most of its views
  • Supply has jumped: many more identical cars are now for sale near you

Who uses it

Independent dealers use it for a weekly price review of the whole forecourt. Used car managers at franchise and group sites use it as a second opinion on stock that is ageing. Smaller traders who advertise on their own website use it to see at a glance which cars have been listed longest.

Ask about your stock from ChatGPT or Claude

Pro plans include access from AI assistants. Once connected, you can ask in plain English, for example "which of my cars has been listed longest?" or "how does the price of my Golf compare with similar cars?", and the assistant reads your stock and runs searches from your allowance, exactly as the dashboard does.

What My Stock does not do

It does not change the prices on your website or adverts, and it does not reprice cars for you: you decide, with the market in front of you. It finds your stock by matching the listings on the website saved on your profile, so cars that are not advertised on your website will not appear.

What it costs

My Stock is included with Pro 100 (£99 a month for 100 searches) and Pro 200 (£195 a month for 200 searches). Each car you run a search on uses one search, and searching the same registration again in the same billing month is free, so a weekly review of the same stock costs nothing extra.

The first month is half price, there is no contract and no VAT is added.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my used cars are priced right?

Compare each car with identical cars for sale and recently sold, with similar mileage and spec, and with how long that model takes to sell. If yours is priced above the cars that are selling, or has been listed longer than the model’s days to sell, look at the price again.

What is price position?

Where your price sits against identical cars on the market: below, in line with or above them. It matters because buyers compare cars side by side, and a car priced above similar ones gets fewer enquiries.

How often should I review used car prices?

Weekly for the whole forecourt, and at about two weeks for every new advert, because that is when an advert gets most of its views. Act on any car that has passed the days to sell for its model.

Which plans include My Stock?

Pro 100 and Pro 200. Basic 100 includes searches and valuations but not My Stock, service history or AI assistant access.

How does My Stock find my cars?

It matches the cars listed on the dealer website saved on your profile. Add or change the website from My Stock or your profile page.

Does My Stock work if I do not have a website?

No. It needs a website that lists your stock. Without one, you can still search any registration on the dashboard to price it against the market.

Does it change the prices on my adverts?

No. DealerPricing never changes your adverts or website. It shows you the market so you can decide, then you change the price wherever you advertise.

Does checking my stock use searches?

Each car you run a search on uses one search from your monthly allowance. Searching the same registration again in the same billing month is free.

Is this the same as a marketplace price indicator?

No. A marketplace price indicator compares your advert with that marketplace’s own valuation. My Stock and a DealerPricing search compare the car with identical cars for sale and sold across UK dealer websites, with the days to sell, so you see the wider market.

Can I see how long other dealers’ cars have been listed?

Yes. The comparable cars in every search show days listed, so you can see whether similar cars are moving or sitting.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. The dashboard and My Stock run in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install.
