Endeavour Automotive brings Geely to Hertfordshire

Dealer group Endeavour Automotive has added Chinese brand Geely to its portfolio with the opening of a new showroom in Hertfordshire.

The new location, branded Geely Letchworth, marks the first Geely showroom for the group and extends its presence across the South East of England. By situating the outlet in Letchworth, Endeavour aims to provide a dedicated space where customers can experience the Chinese manufacturer’s latest models.

Full UK line‑up on display

The retailer will stock Geely’s current UK range, comprising the fully electric EX5, the compact electric EX2 and the Starray EM‑i plug‑in hybrid SUV. These models represent Geely’s push for advanced new‑energy vehicles that combine technology, value and quality in a single package.

Customers will be assisted by a dedicated sales team, while after‑sales support will be delivered through Endeavour’s wider retail operation, ensuring a seamless ownership experience from purchase to service.

Strategic partnership and market ambitions

Geely UK’s dealer development director, Adam Harkin, confirmed the partnership, stating, “We are proud to partner with Endeavour Automotive, as we bring Geely Auto to Letchworth and Hertfordshire.” He added that the collaboration enables customers to experience Geely’s vehicles first‑hand as the brand continues to grow its national network.

Paul Stapylton, CEO of Endeavour Automotive, described the launch as a “really exciting milestone” and highlighted that Geely fits well with the group’s customer base. He noted that the brand’s focus on advanced technology, impressive design and electrified solutions offers genuine choice as the automotive industry evolves.

Geely’s broader UK ambitions

The expansion follows recent comments from Geely UK’s Andrew Stuart, who told Car Dealer magazine that Chinese brands could soon account for 50% of the UK new‑car market as they continue to ramp up dealer networks. The Letchworth opening therefore forms part of a wider strategy to increase visibility and accessibility of Chinese‑made vehicles across the country.

Endeavour’s decision to include Geely aligns with the growing consumer interest in electric and hybrid models, a trend that is reshaping the UK market.
