2 min read

Find out when the Initiate Show returns to Goodwood, who's behind it and the star drivers on the tarmac – all in one guide.

After the wild success of last year’s Japfest, the second‑year Initiate Show is back on the Goodwood Circuit on 4 May. Drift heavyweight Steve “Baggsy” Biagioni will headline the event, raising expectations for another high‑octane day.

When is the Initiate Show at Goodwood?

The Initiate Show makes its Goodwood appearance on 4 May. This marks the second consecutive year the event has been staged at the historic circuit, offering fans a dedicated day of drifting, builds, and car culture.

Who is behind the Initiate Show?

The event is organised by Steve Biagioni – better known in the UK drifting community as “Baggsy”. He has been a core figure in UK drifting for more than a decade, competing internationally and delivering demos at some of the world’s biggest venues. Biagioni has also shown long‑standing support for Fast Car, Japfest and TRAX, meaning the partnership is collaborative rather than competitive.

Fast Car will be on‑site to capture the builds, the people and the sideways moments that define the day. Their coverage reflects a shared passion for the madness of drifting and the broader car‑culture scene.

What can fans expect at Goodwood?

The heart of the day will be the drifting battles. Baggsy has assembled a star‑studded lineup that includes George Barclay, Axel Turbo, Jake Crouch, Huw Savil, Martin Richards, Ashley Goodlad, Pauly C, Ian Phillips and the newly crowned Japfest Drift King Harry Love. These drivers will take on the Goodwood tarmac, delivering the high‑energy sideways action fans crave.

Beyond the main drift programme, the day will feature several additional attractions:

  • Liam Doran performing demos in his custom Mini.
  • An FMX (freestyle motorcross) showcase.
  • A “show and shine” competition for the best‑prepared builds.
  • A personal demo from Baggsy himself.

Tickets are currently on sale, with a dedicated VIP area for fast‑car coverage. Fans are encouraged to purchase early via the link below.
