It was a particularly strong month for the MG brand, which demonstrated remarkable market appeal by securing five out of the top ten places on the fastest-sellers list. While other popular models like the Vauxhall Frontera, Hyundai i10, and Seat Ibiza also performed well—all selling in under 19 days on average—they were outpaced by the impressive performance of MG's offerings.

Tugby specifically noted MG's success: 'This was particularly noticeable in the MG network with no less than five models in the top 10 all under 12 months old and the MG3 taking the fastest selling honours averaging just 7.4 days in stock.'
The broader market context from the analysis showed that younger cars were the only price band to experience a month-on-month price drop. Models aged under two years saw a 1.6% decrease, bringing their average price down to £28,382. This slight softening in price for nearly-new vehicles likely contributed to their accelerated sales pace, presenting a compelling value opportunity for cost-conscious buyers.
