Police investigating a significant burglary at a Porsche dealership have made an arrest following what they describe as 'extensive enquiries'. The incident, which saw thieves make off with an estimated £70,000 worth of parts, occurred at Porsche Centre Bolton while the premises were closed over the festive period, between Christmas Eve and December 27.
Vehicle Seized and Stolen Parts Recovered
In a significant development, officers from Greater Manchester Police have confirmed they have tracked down the vehicle believed to have been used during the theft. Furthermore, they have successfully recovered some of the stolen automotive parts. A suspect from the Rochdale area has been arrested in connection with the offence and has since been released on bail while the investigation continues.
Confirming the latest development, a spokesman for Bolton GMP stated: 'Following extensive enquiries and forensic work, PC Shezad has arrested an individual linked to the Rochdale area in connection with this offence. The vehicle believed to have been used during the burglary has been seized, and some of the stolen parts have been recovered. The individual has been released on bail while further enquiries remain ongoing.'
