* Service History prices change on 1 December 2026. Until then the current price applies, and a request is always charged at the price in force when it is made. Service history searches that find no records are refunded in full.
Changing package
- Your full monthly fee comes back as plan credit to spend on calls at your package's prices. Plan credit is used before your topped-up balance.
- Plan credit expires at the end of each monthly billing period (it does not roll over) and cannot be withdrawn or refunded. Each renewal gives you a fresh month of credit.
- Upgrades apply straight away: you pay the difference in monthly price for the current month, the new rates and limits apply from that moment, and the difference you pay is added to your plan credit for the month.
- Downgrades and cancellations take effect at your next renewal. You keep your current rates until then, any plan credit runs to the end of the month and then expires, and nothing is charged.
- Monthly packages renew each month until you cancel by switching back to Pay As You Go in Billing.
Package limits
Per account, across all your live keys. Daily limits and caps reset at midnight UK time. Tax and MOT has no cap of its own and counts towards the daily limit. Sandbox keys have their own limits and are not counted here.

Pre-paid Balance
Top up your balance from £10. API costs are deducted per successful request (failed lookups are free), after any plan credit from your monthly package.

Rate Limits
Each package has limits per second, per minute and per day across all your live keys, plus a daily cap on some endpoints (see the table above). A single key can use the whole package; you can set any key lower.
